Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve


I told Kristen Hase, a biologist with the National Parks, that I like that tree down there, and she said, "do you want to come help us cut it down?"

Angie, I'm so glad you came out for the count. I wish we could have been in the same group at some point so we could have visited more. Maybe next year! Marva

Thanks for helping to organize it! It was good for me to get out there and refresh my butterfly skills. I was glad to have someone in my group who knew skippers. I've never studied them at all.

We drove south on 177 last Saturday morning. WOW. You are fortunate to live in such an amazing landscape.
